Where Diffit is stronger
Diffit is the stronger choice for flexible differentiation at scale. It can start from a topic or existing material, adjust resources, support a range of subjects, and export into common teacher platforms. ReadAloudKit cannot generate a leveled resource for any arbitrary text.
Where ReadAloudKit is different
ReadAloudKit's differentiation is intentionally attached to one shared read-aloud objective. Rather than producing three separate lessons, it describes how a student can enter the same discussion with support, complete the core evidence task, or extend the reasoning.
Its other advantage is relational organization. The plan stores which activity belongs to which book and which of the three sessions uses it. A teacher returns to the week rather than searching a resource-generation history for disconnected outputs.
The verification difference
Diffit visibly warns that AI can make mistakes and teachers should review content before sharing it.
